Kairos Canada calls on Canadian gov’t to reject Trump peace plan
February 5, 2020Kairos Canada, alongside its member churches and partners, has written an open letter calling on Canada to publically reject the “Deal of the Century” and defend Palestinian rights to self-determination. The plan would see Israel annex large swaths of the West Bank and legitimize the illegal settlements in the West Bank while denying Palestinians access to Jerusalem and isolating Palestinian communities.
