Maximize Your Support with the Federal Extension for Tax Receipt Deadlines

Dear friends,

In an effort to mitigate the recent Post Canada strike, the deadline for donations eligible for charitable tax  receipts in the 2024 tax year will be extended until February 28, 2025. This amendment to the Income Tax Act allows Canadian donors and businesses the opportunity to maximize their financial gifts and their tax benefits.

If you are able to make a donation by February 28, 2025, you become eligible to claim a receipt for the 2024 tax year. When making your donation please let us know that you wish to make it part of the 2024 fiscal year.
